Hello, I've been unable to get past this CTD. Thank you so much for the help- I love this game, but it's frustrating to have it keep crashing. I used the trait fix to get past a crash, next turn had another CTD, defraged and clean reboot and got past that, but now I have a CTD I just can't get around. I am playing version 1.0, and have used all the permanent fixes as well as the temporary trait fix. I'm playing Pahlavi, and it's around 180 BC, and the game crashes around the Roman or around the Eluneteri faction turns. If you need any further details, please let me know- I really want to keep playing! I saved my game on AxiFile- here it is. Thanks again so much!

Have you tried the fixes, especially the script fix?

Yes, I have installed all the permanent fixes (all 4 of them), as well as the temporary trait fix. Not sure what the story is- I have a big sprawling empire, so that means revolting cities, seiges, and all sorts of stuff. No Yeutzi invasion yet (I installed the script fix thinking that was the problem). Let me know what to try next!

You could try seeing if the Romani have a rebelling town that is causing the crash, then use "add_population [city name] -4000" to get the town under control. I don't know...

How do I find out if the Romani have a rebelling town- where do I look to find out that info? Walk me through it and I'll give it a try. Thanks again for the help.

I don't know if that is actually the problem, but it might be...
To find out, open the console ([`] button). Then use the "toggle_fow" cheat to see the enemies. Then just double click on their towns until you see one that has the little rioting symbol down in the bottom right. Try reducing the population of the town (using the "add_population [Town_name] -4000") to see if it helps.

How is this for bad luck? The city that is revolting is a Roman city named Gawjam~Bastarnoz. In order to type in the full city name, I have to make the "~" mark- but hitting that key toggles the console on and off.... any ideas on how to get around that little coincidence?

The interal name is "Gawjam-Bastarnoz" or "Gawjam_Bastarnoz" (I forget which). They console will except both interal and external names, so try those.

Thank you for the help, it worked. The name is Gawjam_Bastarnoz.

One more thing- how do I turn the fog of war back on- in other words, how do I reverse the "toggle_fow" cheat?
Thank you for the help, it worked. The name is Gawjam_Bastarnoz.
