I play EUIII and love it. the only thiong it lacks is a strategy map but I digress.
I have been interested in trying a multiplayer game of EUIII but i dont know how it works. does it work on hot seat or what?I dont want to dive straight into it without knowing.

I don't know much about the Multiplayer side of EUIII, I love Singleplayer though!
Check your Manual, I read the whole thing before palying and there are about 2 chapters at the end devoted to Multiplayer. I know it is a hotseat type.
Have you tried any mods for EUIII? Magna Mundi is on my list when I've finished my awesome English campaign, any oters you like? I am thinking about buying Napoleon's Ambition.
I am playing England and I've conquered Scotland, Ireland a bit of France and some provinces in Eastern America (Plus I am trying to colnise Bermuda and St Helena area)

The Org has a lot of Paradox fans, but I think this place (http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=356) is probably the better one to look around.
One of the stickies in there ought to explain the basics, and since EUIII is most definitely a long campaign kind of game, all the organizations needed to make the games go smoothly will also be there.

I am thinking about buying Napoleon's Ambition.Magna Mundi is so much more awesome in Napoleon's Ambition it is probably worth it to get the expansion for that factor alone. It's light-years faster, far more detailed, and its Holy Roman Empire is a whole new kind of playground. The mod in the original game is so slow it's almost unplayable long-term.
Magna Mundi is the "premier" mod for EUIII anyway, like RTR and EB to RTW or AGCEEP to EUII: indispensable.

If anyone's playing 1.3 with the latest version of pre-NA Magna Mundi I'd happily join in a multiplayer game.

It looks okay but I don't think its traditional EU.
FOr one theres only about 3 units in the whole game. Paradox is sayng something about how to evolve your character and this game foucses more on character advancement.
Uh well, if Paradox makes it, I sure am buying it.
