CTD during tactical combat.

First of all, exuse me for poor english.

I've experince a very annoying crash-to-desctop during tactical combat. In a majority of times it's happen in the most end of battle, to be more accurate - when I pressing tick button, on battle statistics scroll. But it can happen any time, in the middle, rarely in the begining. It can be very frustrating after a hour(s) of hard fighting with 4-5k enemies. Not every second time, but 1 per 4-5-6.
Any help?

Yes, i've playin' EB 1.0
No i do not have any mods, except EB.
Yes, i do install all permamanent fixes.
Yes, i do install all temporary fixex.
No, i do not post savegame 'couse i couldn't save during tactical =) Anyway it wan't help, it can happen any game, any campaign, any event (siege, defending, plain fight), any period of campaign time.

Sould i provide any additional information?

I used to get midbattle CTDs, but that was before I upgraded my PC.

What are your computer stats? You may be maxing out your system or overheating your videocard.

E6600, 2gb ram, x1950pro
It is not hardware problem, many other heavy 3D-games works fine. And it is not mid-battle, it majorly when 100-200 enemy units left.

I've heard people say you should wait for about 10 seconds before clicking the tick in the battle report. I do not experience many of those crashes myself, so I can't attest to how effective the measure is. But it can hardly do much harm.

I go through many battles and I usually take some time to look at the detailed statistics. I've noticed that when I don't look at the detailed list, and click the tick on the detailed list after looking at the casualty ratio, I would get a crash. This isn't consistent, but just recently I got a crash after a siege because I tried to get out of it as fast as I could.
