Please, I need to get my hands on a couple of R-TWs for X-mass. I've been to several local stores and no one has it. Could anyone please tell me the quickest way to get two Platinum sets?

I'll check back soon,
thanks in advance.

Always try ebay for games. I remember getting some for $1 (+ about $15 intercontinental shipping ~:mecry:) and they weren't decade old stuff.

Just remebered, it on steam these days as well, though I'm not sure how well they would mod, which I assume you want.

Always try ebay for games.

As a professional ebay-seller I can assure you that the chance to get something that you'll buy today or tomorrow on ebay till Christmas is at around 0.something% - unless you live in a country with an extremingly well organised postsystem (what would be neither Germany nor any other country we had delivered so far), and your trading partner is the only poor company online that is not been bombarded with orders the last week before Xmas (I suppose he should be a profi too to offer several new copies of an allready out-of-stock game).

I disregarded the seasons rush. As a matter of fact, extremely quick shipment has never been a concern for me; whatever I got on ebay, I got for myself. :shame:

Uh, question, what is included in Platinum and how is it different from Gold?

Pharnakes

Thanks to everyone for all the help, but yesterday I picked up two Gold copies at a Best Buy. I had to go just a bit farther afield. Now, all I need is a copy of 'The Little Ice Age: How Climate Made History, 1300-1850' by Brian M. Fagan, for my GWK-Hippie niece. And...

'The Archaeology of the Donner Party' by Donald L Hardesty, for a colleague whom obviously is well on his way to going over to the infamous Dark Side...

Historic Archaeology.

Again, Happy Holidays to all.

Have you looked up on Alibris? I found half of my noted down EB Bibliography there (bought none yet ~:mecry:).

Google Books locates online sellers and libraries, that's how I learned about Alibris, but that you probably already know. ~:handball:
