question about modding

i was wondering what people meant by "backing up" files and such when doing extra mods. i guess i didnt do it right and i had to reinstall eB!:furious3: extremely long process as many of you know. and i dont have my awesome romani campaign going!!! :help:

they mean copying the file but remaming the copy such as, for this explanations sake, "EB EDU" and when you backed it up, you wuold call it s/t like "copy of EDU" or s/t. the point is if a minimod goes bad, you still have the original text to repair the damage.

BTW, it so much quicker to install eb if you do it manualy, using 7zip or s/t

It means just save your original file to other location in case your modded files get messed up
