Sophacles

I like the quotations on the start-up screens in EB and also the artwork.

But one quotation is credited to 'Sophacles' and that made wonder if it should be 'Sophocles'?

I know it's pointless, but now I'm wondering which spelling is correct? Or are they different people or what??

I have a book next to my titled: "Sophocles: Theban Plays"

So I suppose you're right...it could go either way.

I've always seen "Sophocles".
