basically, i am playing the egyptians and i have managed to conquer all lands from toulouse, aquitaine in the west to armenia, trbizond and nicaea in the east...now the dilema i am faced with is that in the east i have the russians who boarder all my lands and in the west i have the french who border my lands, the thing is that i am allied to both of these countries...so the thing is that i am forced into either attacking my allies to progress further, however there are still other nations that are still in the game and i would very much like to keep my alliences with these coutries and rather attack someone that i don't have an alliance with, as my allies can potentially protect my borders (unless they do a dirty on me...hehehe)...so what would be nice for the dev's to think about is that we should have the option to travel through ally coutries without having to wage a war against them. i feel this could open doors to other types of strategies...For example if i could keep my alliance with the russians lets just say...i could cross there lands freely take over an unallied country and what this does is gives me an option to attack the russians from both sides at a later time...anyhoo, i feel that this kick ass game has a lot of problems in respect to diplomacy...this is the only weakness about this game...i really wish there was more we could do with diplomacy...and in past posts i have seen some really good suggestions please look them up and take them into consideration, i strongly feel that these addtions to diplomacy can be made possable in an expansion pack, which i hope you will make...anyhoo thanks.
