I got an idea for a mod, but I'm to unskilled to create it (I tried and failed).
I wanted to alternate to main campeign so that it includes a lot of kingdoms stuff (except from america campeign)...
This means adding factions (ireland, norway, scotland, wales, teutonic knight order, lithunia, kingdom of jerusalem, principal of antiochia), perhaps giving land to the mongols and make them playable, raise the starting year to something arround 1250 or something like that, adding new recruitable units to old faction (For example Greek flamethrowers). Rebalancing the game on base of the England campeign, which I think is the best official balance I ever enjoyed in MTWII (with feudal knights stop being gods of war and things like that), maybe removing all Knight Orders from the catholic factions exept the knights of santiago for the knights of st. john, the templars and teutonic knights all got their very own faction. This will also prevent catholic nations that shall not have a good cavalry such as england from recruiting these knights.
To match the higher number of nations their should also some provinces be added.
Maybe including more individual diplomatic starting situation including hate, friendship, alliances and war with any neiboughrs the nation has.
Maybe also including the "You need so and so much of your religion here to recruit these guys"-system so that it is not anymore possible to recruit Gothic Knights directly after conquering Jerusalem.
Since I think the basic Idea of including kingdoms content into the main campeign is a quite obvious one - I wanted to ask: Are their perhaps already mods that try exactly that? And if not - is their maybe a modder who got to much time? ^^
