Would appreciate knowing what's up with the replay - pull files open from menu and it does nothing - what do I have to do to get the files to run?

Is this non-functional?

(tried to get back to Puzz3D's post on this - not available)

I don't know how that works either Candid. I tried checking out log files and there's nothing in that folder.

Maybe someone will come along and illumine us, eh?

iirc, you simply pick the menu option, click on a save file and run it. try saving a custom replay first. these work. the one's from multi will play back, but they play back incorrectly. the custom ones play back just fine. if you dont see a list to pick from then your files arent being saved. mine works just fine.

Thanks for answering Krae. Am able to save and select and even open ones from campaign (and a Bannockburn) from single player menu(hadn't tried to custom), but nothing happens after that - forces are in state before defensive deployment. Was thinking there's a keystroke to start replay - but saw nothing going through the assign keys list.

Is this what you mean by "playing back incorrect"?

Crank up the speed slider and eventually the forces should start moving.

if you're getting a big lag before the battle starts this is natural. the recording records EVERYTHING, even the time BEFORE deployment and so on. i thought i had a problem too until the thing finally started running and then i realized that i'd taken a long time to look around the map and stuff before i deployed. it records all that time and plays it back the same way.

there are no playback buttons, other than pause and the time slider. try what dionysus said and move the slider to fast forward thru that opening dead period. if it still wont work then you'd better post in the tech forum.
