I am testing a new map that I have made. Trouble is, I keep getting a CTD when a particular settlement is captured. It only happens for this settlement and no others - yet. I know it is not due to a building being placed in the wrong level city or being used with a wrong culture because it is a village and has no buildings. Any ideas?
If it helps, I have modified the names and descr_names files. But if I had done something wrong here, the game would have crashed before the map loaded - right?
Are you playing as Rome? If so is it a senate request to capture? There is a hardcoded bug which causes some settlements to CTD when captured for the senate missions. If not check traits it could be a coincidence and really be a trait that the general is getting which causes CTDs I've seen that before. You need to give more detailed information be helped corectly. :book:

Thanks, but no, it isn't that.
I am playing BI. And from what I can tell, it doesn't matter which faction or which general captures this settlement, it still crashes.
It also doesn't matter whether the faction is computer or player controlled.
I really can't explain it much better than that...
have you edited any buildings?

I made the huns able to build ports. Why?

Nevermind. I have found the problem. I overlooked a misspelt resource in descr_regions. I can capture the city fine now.
