i have one questions.
1. I just captured Sparte through a Mak. army. Is it possible to put my young general in the agoge. If so how do you do it, f=d you just leave him in there for a couple of years and he will automatically get the trait, because there are no buildings that i know of that train hellenistic generals. i may be wrong, maybe its scripted.
i hope everyone had a great christmas ~:santa:

Yes, leave a young general in Sparta for a few turns and he will begin his training. After two years there, 8 turns, he will turn into a Padiskos. Then after another two years he will complete his training.
What is the Krypteia thing?
I just got "A Man of Great Potential" that had the "ex-Krypteia member"

Krypteia was tasked with making sure that Helots wouldn't rebell using any means necessary.
(Hint... Mothax=The kid between a Spartan and a Helot woman). Those kids' number had an exponential raise during the years after the 464 BCE earthquake and the rebellion of helots that ensued. Lysandros, the winner of 404 Aigos Potamoi was a Mothax. Had he not been taken under the protection of a Spartan without descnendants and raised as his own child he wouldn't fare so well.
So wait. All Hellenic factions have the ability to get the Agoge, Paidoskos(sp?), and Krypteia traits? Not Just the KH
