How do you board boats?

I might be an idiot here, but how do you board an army on a boat? The manual isn't real clear on this, and I've tried the drag and drop method, but it just isn't working!

Someone please answer this newbie's questions.

You can't as such.But I think there is at least two threads dealing with sea invasions if that's what you'r looking for.
Have a little look around.can't have gone far done the board.
