Where have all the Siege Weapons Gone???

Hey, I know this question may sound routine/repetitive, but why is it that siege weapons are practically non existent on EB? I mean, no Balistae, no Scorpions no nothing...

I'm playing the Kartadastim, and I can't build anything past a siege tower and a ladder, why is that?

You talk about Oxybeles, Catapultas and so on, but where are they? Is it possible at all to build any in EB?

Recruitment is more restrictive, especially on rare items like siege equipment which relatively few factions could deploy. They tend to be recruitable only in high level barracks [4+] in provinces with a tradition of urban/hellenic influence - like Syracuse.

For Karth build a level 4 barracks in any Karthage, or its 2 nearest neighbours and they should be recruitable.

You can answer these sort of questions with the recruitment viewer (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=93502). Just be aware that just because Makedon can recruit Companion Cavalry in Seleukeia according to the recruitment viewer, if it has a Level 5 barracks there, that doesnt mean it can build a Level 5 barracks there. Yep, frustrating:|

On second thoughts - it probably can build that level 5 barracks, but that would be an evil exploit...

You would require a school of learning to build these siege weapons too, not just a high MIC. Without the school they will never be available.
