Ok, thanks I didn´t read that at all....

Another question would be if the 1.6 BI exe is essentiell for the
RTW RTR (realism) mod plat edition...or would the 1.4 version be enough?

I´m not registered in their forum.

They say that playing the mod with the BI exe 1.6 gives some
better features and better AI. I don´t want to play BI "vanilla" at all.

As for your question, R:TR Platinum can run on R:TW v1.5 and R:TW BI v1.6. Playing it under BI v1.6 doesn't really have too much of a difference on many of the game play factors though. Due to changes to the game's interpretation of text files in between patches, it will not work on other patch configurations.

You'll need RTW 1.5 or BI 1.6

RTW 1.3 or BI 1.4 is not enough

Well then I play with RTW 1.5 and de-install BI. Case closed if it doesn´t give that much difference in play thanx.
