Hey guys,
Is anyone using a Mac computer to play Europa? I am getting one soon and am wondering if I will be able to play my beloved game via Bootcamp or Parrallel. I am casting about to see if anyone has any experiance with this.
:help:
thanks.

if you can play rome total war on a Mac then i guess you can also play EB on it....

Wouldn't recommend Parallel for RTW. It seems to run anything before DirectX 9 (Quake 3 generation games for instance), but RTW runs very slowly and with a lot of graphical glitches. Bootcamp should work, I recall hearing people even running MTW2 using that.

Yeah, it works, I play EB on my Macbook Pro Core Duo, 2.33 Ghz through boot Camp. It works pretty good. Make sure you have lots (2GB) of RAM, it will help tremendously.

I agree with the post above
graphics can be raised to a ridiculous level and it still runs smoothly with hardly any wait times
thats with my mac book pro as well

I play on a 1 year old 24" iMac and I can jack up the graphics as far as they go. But it has to be bootcamp and windows xp. I tried it on parallels, no joy.
I'm running on mac OSX (not leopard) with 1 gb memory, 2.16 processor and an nvidia geforce 7300 gt. everything works fantastically. Highly recommended.

Thanks for the input guys. Great to know that I will be able to power it up on my incoming iMac. You advice is duly noted. Thanks much.
