Iv'e made some progress into the roman campaign in EB, but then something wierd occured. When I tried to manage a battle against some other faction the screen made a close-up on the scene of battle (I fight mostly in cities atm) and then just stopped working, as if the game is loading the loading picture, but nothing really happend for quite some time untill i decided to quit the program. I've tried to start a new roman campaign and get into a quick battle there - the same problem occured again. Then I tried out fighting in the original R:TW (without the EB mod) and it worked perfectly fine.
Help! O:

But the game was working fine earlier? Have you made any changes? Have you tried to restart your computer? What does the validation tool say?

The game worked fine before. I havent made any changes. The validation tool doesn't do a thing, I get no info in ebValidationResults.

Actually the validation tool does. Quite a bit.

Checks:
_You have unpacked Validation.zip into [Your RTW Folder used for installing EB (the thing with the RTW.exe used by EB)]
_You ran validateInstall.bat (not anything else)
_You did not interrupt the program?
_You press a key when it's done : the DOS box closes and a Notepad/Text Editor screen appears ?

EDIT: If you think the program takes just too much time..., well: the more there's actually wrong: the quicker the program is done.

I did all of that. The program worked fine and told me to press any key after it finished running. Then I was told that the text file didn't exist and asked me whether I want it to be created or not. I said yes and gotten an empty text file.
I think i'm gonna keep my saved games, uninstall everything and install it all back. Hope it'll do the trick. The only reason I've got R:TW on my computer is EB.

Do not have the game (RTW) in the program files folder when running on Vista. Yes, it's the default. Override it by simply copying the whole game folder to another folder outside of program files. Otherwise Vista will gobble up some of the files, such as the results of the validation tool. Seeing as it has already done so, you should check Vista's bowels for any files that are being digested.
