Excellent shot Flavius! The grass is beautiful, and the "camera" position is perfect. However there is a tiny bit too much "glow" for me, and the blurring effect is a tad unbalanced if you know what I mean. Just my opinion though, others may appreciate those effects more.

Yes good shots guys, btw do you take the screenies directly from a battle or replay or use some kind of icmenatic editor like in medieval?
if yes can you tell me how to make it for my RTW cause afaik its just some writing in a notepad that is turnet into a .cfg and a .bat file ,but i may be talking trash.

Judging by the number of men you have left, either you took heavy casualties, or your army is VERY VERY good. Depending on whether you used Huge or Large size units.

Its a bridge battle guys, just need to rout one unit to start a chain rout, after which you just take 1 unit of cavalry and ride across the bridge.

I have played on large size units. it was a battle between Romani and Arverner. I had 1900 men and the arverner had 1900 men, too .
All units fight on the bridge. :smash:

I'd be taking a screenshot right now of EB with my newly-made pc I put together...only problem is, this is the first pc I've had with VISTA (gods, I'll smite whoever invented it). I can't get any programs, or the PrintScreen key, to give me an in-game screenshot. Any suggestions?

Out of curiosity, what happens then when you try to take a screen - is it an empty file or a black shot or nothing at all?

Depends on what I'm using. The Print-Screen key gives me nothing (unless I've minimized RTW/EB and am on my desktop). Programs like Snag-it(what I used when I had XP and worked quite well) or some other program(even the ones that say they work with vista) will give me a screenshot of my desktop background when in-game(not entirely bad hehe, its one of the wallpapers someone here made for EBII). But still, when I have RTW/EB as the active window, and the programs are set to capture the "active window", it takes a snapshot of my desktop background anyways. Frustrating.

Haven't used xfire yet. I'll give it a try and post back on this post and tell if it works. :wall: :wall: :wall:

Thanks for the suggestion TA, but Gebeleisis seems to be on track. I've taken a screenshot of Pyrrhos Aiakides handsome presence on the campaign map, so I'll assume that it'll also work in the battle mode.

The general in the pic is Pyrrhos Aiakides, no stranger-to-danger and king. Northern Latium. Being king for him is definitely a high-risk job occupation.

Impressive Elephants. If only Pyrrhos had been such an opponent in my Makedonian game. I was worried when I engaged his elephants, but sadly, they were no trouble at all.

Pretty good one, though next time try to remember to deselect all units before taking a screenshot/getting mouse cursor off the screen area(I've had some good screenies that went awry because I had something in the way).

I use the movie camera every time...unless the shot is from a campaign.

I chose to leave the banners this time. Thought they looked good in that situation, especially when desaturated as such.

I play on max detail everywhere :eyebrows: and a resolution of 1280x1024x32. AA is high. Unit scale is on large but that should not be the problem. :( If you've got a solution or at least a hint I'd really be taken with you :shakehands:

Yeah, either turn off AA or use FRAPS to take screens

Hm... I've been quite lucky because I faced the enemy on a very beautiful battlefield. Though I do not like it the much that you seem to do ~:) The setting was perfect but I missed the opportunity of taking the perfect shot. Can you name some? I would also like to know, as the quality of youtube is poor. Especially, when it comes to the videos from TW games. The best I know as far is stage6, but there are only divX format videos there, besides, their quality is so high, that I am too shy to upload any videos of my own. :shame: (I think they are not good enough)
