A question,

Can only boys who come of age go to the Spartan Agoge or can adopted members join it to. Cos i have an adopted general, age 16, sharp/charismatic/vigorous and i want to have him trained their but he doesn't seem to get the trait that he has begun training.

Or could it be because i use the simplified script, which excludes client rulers?

Since the game can't see what age your adopted and married in family members are, and since the team wants to be completely sure nobody over the correct age is in the Agoge, only family members that come of age can join the Agoge.

For other factions to use the Agoge, is there a particular building that is involved? I ask because I took Sparte by destroying the KH forces in a field battle and took the town without any damage. However, I thought that it wouldn't be based on the original Sparte Gov I building, and it appeared to be so, so I later destroyed it.

Are you supposed to leave the Sparte Gov I building in place to have the Agoge?

No, as always, destroy the enemy governments.
The Agoge training is unique from the "Agoge" government.

To have the Agoge training work, all you need is to be Hellenic and own the town of Sparte. (Only two guys can train at once, though.)

So, does that mean that I could use this feature of Agoge training in my current Arche Seleukeia campaign, if i manage to conquer Sparta?

I'm pretty sure that AS gets the Agoge, yes.
