I'm very new to this game and right now I'm playing as england. I think I took out denmark but they are still playing??? I mean I took out scotland and there guys just turn to rebels... I took out all of denmarks settlements but threre units are still playing??? Also if I do tak out denmark will I be able to play them later? Or do I have to win with england and then pick someone I want to play?

denmark probably has a settlement somewhere you simply don't know about. and im pretty sure that when you conquer a faction you can play as them straight away. i once used money cheats and raided the entire as spain and just hired mercs. great way of easily unlocking factions.

Why money cheat to unlock all factions, just change the variables in the descr_strat.

Lol - "We are trying to massacre the last survivors of your pathetic race, but we cannot find your last hideout. Would you mind telling us where it is?"

They are probably around the Baltic or in Jerusalem.

You could also use toggle_fow to temporarily reveal the map.

You will know when you eliminate them because you get a message saying so. Also they disappear from the diplomacy and Pope screen.

Helsinki is the obvious spot, the Danes quite often end up with it. Stettin is also a possibility. In my experience the AI Danes rarely make it to the Holy Lands as they start in one of the worst positions for a crusade and are very often already at war by the time of the first crusade.

I agree with Ramses, likely places are along the Baltic like I said: Oslo, Stockholm, Helsinki, Stettin, or Riga. Or they may have Magdeburg or some other inland northern europe province. Obvious but I have to say it, are you sure you didn't overlook Hamburg, Bruges, Antwerp. Those are common Danish targets and are readily visible to England with a turn or 2 of ship or spy travel.

Most of those are rebel coastal provinces so a ship of yours could easily see them. If you have checked all the coastal areas, they might be inland, look at who they are at war with, it might give you a clue to which direction they expanded.

Also, knowing what turn it is could help us analyze your situation.

Of course, if you don't mind 'cheating' this could all be easily solved by using toggle_fow. Type ` (also the ~ key) to open the console, then type the command. Type it again to hide the map as it was. Some people with different international keyboards reported trouble opening the console, I don't know where you are from but with a name like WildWayne i'm guessing the US so you shouldn't have any problems :beam:

as for the last danish hideout, if they crusade at all, they will go to the baltic, check Vilnius, Riga, or Helsinki (I commonly see Vilnius and Riga as "crusade targets" in the Pope screen under request crusade)

You mean Marion Morrison?

And Wild man, in the future you might want to try and get their map info before you attack. Alot of times you can get it in exchange for trade rights early on.
