This is all part of Gate's "M$ World" vision where all media that the public view will be supplied by M$ or in some way affiliated with them. It's apparently all about integrating and allowing users to view their "media" on any device, that is unless your toaster or kettle happens to run FreeBSD, Linux or anything vaguely non M$, in that case your......... out of luck.

Funny enough, this is what I thought of years ago. Why didn't I think it was going to be Microsoft at the thing?
