Hello all you frontroomers!

This is a bit of shameless recruiting for a very large mafia game kicking off in the early part of February. PLEASE swing by the gameroom and give it a look-see -- we'd love to have you join in the fun.

Currently have 60 players, need 15-40 more.

Here's a quick linkie (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=97480) to help.

and now, for some gratuitous smilies:

I love the idea of voting to lynch people not even in the game, I'm starting a list right now.

or have I not quite got the right idea ~;)

It was in the 1st round, when there wouldn't be much evidence as yet. It came to light that Andres had sent out some PMs, asking people if they'd like to join his mafia gang. With this incontrovertible evidence at hand, I led the call for Andres' lynching, swiftly amassing a significant vote. Until someone pointed out that Andres wasn't playing.

Amused by this, Andres later joined the game, IIRC his first Mafia game at the Org.

I thought I led that bandwagon.

We were both in front of each other, leading the bandwagon.

IIRC it was Kralizec who put Andres up to it, The Stranger who revealed it, someone else who noted the Dutch spelling of "maffia", which thus led to the lynching of Kralizec. The town did some sterling work in the early stages of that game. Can't remember what role you had, but I was a vanilla townie.

I was a townie as well.

It actually was fantastic detective work. The town came within a thin hair of taking out all three dons in 4 days of lynching. But then we had something like 12 killings in 48 hours after that. Just a blast.

Pan-man, I'd love to see you back for the redux!

I was doomed from the start. My two mob members MRD and GH killed first two nights. I held out, calling for Sasaki's lynching! Dirty wolf he was. And he still has the nerve to deny it!

Of course he denied it! It's mafia!

I did have the French horns on the bandwagon play Prokofiev as the wagon crushed him -- they were the instruments representing the villian in "Peter and the Wolf." Sorta sad nobody caught the reference. Still a fun exit.

No, you wouldn't. The game would never get past the first round.

In any case, I think you Mafia people have made your point here.

Annnnnnnnd... goodnight.
