After attempting to talk to the developers sincerely, and subsequently savaged by the "gatekeepers" here, I would try to speak as courteously as I can.
Some have reverted before that building castles take too much time. I am inclined to agree, especially in the late stages. Surely then the building of earlier castles, like keep etc should take a shorter time in High period and even shorter in the late period? This is so that when battles spread out, you dont have to fight your way across the world only to meet a civilisation with much less upgraded troops. It will also enable the AI and perhaps the human player to recover from a setback faster in the later stages instead of reaching a point of no return with the large destruction of facilities.
Now is this a good idea or what.
