:help:

Can anyone help me in some advice of how do I rearrange DMB models for use in DMStart??

I know that comlex *cas wont allow me to use DMB generals in DMS - but I am sure some minor tweaks will allow that..

Anyone?

Thank you

Oh, dms! They are exactly the same format and are entirely swappable. The model in the dmb is a .cas file and it is exactly rhe same thing in the dms. The texture file is similarly .dds for both. You will have to get a modeller to reduce the number of polygons from the model for use in the dms, as otherwise the strat map will slow to a crawl. You should also re-size the texture file to 256x256 for the strat map model as well.

I think I will be hopefully able to do it myself... It's just that I will have to use the 3dmax tutorial and see how it is done:wall: .. Anyways, I always liked when the 'dms' models are more 'detailed' (with shields and some reflections:yes: )..
For 'ALXmod' we will use, for example, models that reflect 'new personalities'.. like, we made Macedon as 'caesar' and we will use 'dmb' SShields - those are very very nice in Campaign map (high*cas model_m)

And, thank you very much for helping me here, it really means to me alot (not to mention that im just now installing x86 system just so I can use x32 3Dmax :wall: )

NOTE: I DID IT! :D
