View Full Version : Its leave the map slightest?
Hi, would leave the map slightest? Any settings to let more light a map because it is too heavy, even heavier than on the battlefield
Hi, the map of the campaign is heavy and the battle is normal, the right would be the opposite, more is not the case, i would like to know if I would lower the quality of the map, to get more light ... Thanks
I don't quite understand the question. Are you asking if you can make the campaign map lighter? If so, I think the answer is no, as I don't recall any setting in the game that would let you change how light or dark the map is. If that's not what you wanted to ask, try to rephrase the question.

Hi, the map of the campaign is heavy .. To asking whether the map would leave the campaign more light, changing something in the configuration of the folder of rome, type make the sea, or even the trees, leaving the map of the slightest respect ... Thanks
If I'm understanding the question, no, unfortunately there's nothing like that you can do. I'm sorry if I was unable to help.

The map where the agent poem warriors to recruit, the map that agent move the armies, the map that agent move the boats, this map is heavy, the hand mouse is heavy, is locking. I would like leave this map slightest? Now it's all off, I wonder if it would not have to take something, or reduce further the quality of the texture map to see if this is more mild .. Understand?
Sorry, I am using translator ....

Hullo and welcome to the forums Kovogod ~
You may wish to make your post in this thread in your own language. It should allow us to understand your request a little better - the forum does have people of many nationalities.

I understand, i think. I think he means the mouse isn't sensitive enough.
Quicken scroll speed? Or slow it down to make it run smoother?

Get a better Translater..
That's unsympathetic, it's not his first language and he's making a good go of it. He's making a better job than I would make using Google.
Oh BTW, it's translator not "translater". He's not the only one struggling with the English language here is he? :inquisitive: I guess that makes him a learner and makes someone that criticises him while they might be bad themselves a hypocrite wouldn't you say? Not that I would insinuate that you are being hypocritical, of course that would earn me a warning for a personal attack.
So I won't.
Quicken scroll speed? Or slow it down to make it run smoother? It's a same thing basically.
Vanilla map isnt that heavy actually (you havent saw what custom map can do ...),
You can only disable shadows and reduce resolution + colour depth in the game options (unless there's any sprites for campaign map' trees?), but I strongly recommend to go to the vid. card's control panel and reduce all settings there if havent done so already. Without this RBR is unplayable with FX5200.
Otherwise new hardware or even more simply tree models if they exist anywhere...
What about my english at the moment? :)

Oof. Calm down. In my opinion Genaral Julis wasn't being sarcastic or anything. It's just that none of us can understand what the OP's saying through his translator, which does suck. Asking that he use a better translator so that we can better help him is hardly unsympathetic. I'd say it's more constructive than half the comments here. (Including mine, lol :laugh4: )
I've seen far more condescending posts than this one on the Guild before.

Could it be something as simple as building watchtowers?
If that is the case, could it also be something as simple as "toggle fow?"
Kovoged, have one of your Generals step to a "dark" place and build a tower. Have an army with him to avoid an ambush.
If that helps, then you are simply in the same position all of us started in.
If you wish to lighten the whole map, press the ~ key. You will have a dark box across your screen. Then key in
toggle fow
and hit the enter key. That will light up the whole map until you do it again and it will darken again.

Maybe he means that his moniter is too dark. In which case you simply adjust the buttons located on the moniter itself.

To remove the fog of war key in "toggle_fow" I don't think it works without the _

Thank you for pointing that out. I missed the underscore.
