Has anyone checked this out:

I am amazed at the military expenditure then any other figures. Imagine if the money was spend on the causes of death regarding diseases.

Also the amount of internet users. I guess once your online tour hooked. You may change internet providers but you need your fix to remain online. Unlike cable providers where you say enough crap, I am not watching TV anymore and will surf instead.

Well, TV can get old after a while. Eventually, the same shows start repeating. I only watch TV for some sports every once in a while, and sometimes news reports. The Internet, on the other hand, is impossible to browse completely in one lifetime. You cannot get bored.

Well we wouldn't have to worry about disease if everyone was dead, would we?

I wonder how much we spend on fast food:

Military:
$67 Billion ($10 per person), Deaths from war: 9,500

Deaths from Cardiovascular disease: 930,000 or 100 times as lethal as war.
Add in Digestive disease and diabetes another 109,000 and 55,000 respectively and you have 1,094,000 dead. So if deaths from war kills 10,000 at $67 Billion, and we kill 1,100,000 from probably a mix of poor diet and lack of exercise... I guess we must have spent this year about 6 trillion in fast food (if it is less then the military should just give super-sized hamburgers to their enemies). :book:
