Hey, everyone.
I was curious, I got a new computer and wanted to know how well you thought it would run. I only have about 23 gigs available so I have to be very careful about what I instal.

It has:
2.2 Ghtz processor (dual core)
2 gigs of Ram
128 VRAM GForce 8600

How fast do you think the game will run, and will I be able to play it on Large/Huge without slowdown using full stacks (say 2 or 3 in a battle?)
I want to know because space on it is at a premium, so if it will not run very fast then I'd rather not install the mod (I have it on my other comp, though it runs slowly (much more than it would here), and can't handle too many soldiers).
Will I be able to go through the enemy turns in less than 3 minutes (five or so later in the game) excluding battles during their turns?

i have a 1 Giga Ram HP PentiumD and EB is very fast and fluid on max settings. So i think you with 2 Giga should go very well. (anyway i have windows XP, so i dont know if Vista could be slower)

vista needs at least 2 gigs, and its still slower- thats why i stay w/ XP- cant ait until Service Pack 3 comes out!

i think i can safely say that EB requires at least 1 gig of RAM to oprate at a tolerable level....
EDIT: for med2, check systemrequirementslab.com to see if it wil work for you

Medieval 2 runs in my comp in Med/low no problem. EB takes more of my computer... that's why I'm gonna put one more gig of RAM!

Cheers...

You should be fine. My laptop has a 1.8GHz single core processor, 1GB of RAM and an ATI Radeon Xpress 200M graphics card and EB works fine on medium-high settings.

Medieval II is a different story...can barely scrape by on the demo with the lowest settings...

It runs very nicely on a 3.2 Ghz Duel Core AMD, with 4 Ghz of RAM and an 756 MB 8800 Ultra.

Sorry :smash:
