Crashes on nearly everything

Now I'm crashing (CTD) whenever I try to play: 80% of the campaign factions, multilayer, and historical battles.

I've reinstalled, ran validation software which came up empty, etc

I'm using retarded VISTA... :(

Have you tried that step at the bottom of the validation tool thread about deleting a certain folder?

You could try uninstalling everything, then reinstalling in a folder that isn't under the "Program Files" folder, in order to avoid Vista craziness.

Ok I'll try that. What folder did you install in/recommend?

It doesn't really matter. I just changed the "Program Files" to "Programs" (on the install target line) and install all of my stuff there to prevent Vista stuff.

I got like a thousand missing files...was I suppose to instal EB into the data folder or right next to it? cuz i have 2 data folders

EB must be installed directly in the RTW directory.
