Any elephants available in North Africa?

Are there any mercenary elephants in north Africa? My Romani legions have successfully invaded Carthago and we're moving along the Mediterranean coast capturing coastal cities. I haven't really explored southern regions but there's mostly desert there.

Aye, but I believe you need a Type 3 or 4 Gov to open up the appropriate level or local recruitment. There's a recruitment viewer available around here to check:

According to the recruitment viewer, you can recruit Elephantes Hulaioi Liboukoi in:

(South of Egypt)
Diamat
Erythraia
Kush

(Numidian area)
Byzacena
Mashiliem
Mauretania
Mauretania Massaesili
Mauretania Tingitana

These are the PROVINCE names, not the city names.

You need a level 5 regional MIC to get them, so only a level 4 government will do.

It's not just 'really useful', it's practically godlike. Gone are the days when I would invade and conquer settlements just to build MICs and see what could be trained there. o.O

Well that's the reason i don't use the viewer too much....

Not much fun when you build up to a level 5 MIC and get nothing though :no:
