I've found Bernhard of Clairvaux's How to make a faction horde and how to make your own unique horde but it's apparently for roxorz11101 modders and I don't understand a bit of what to do. It's been ages since I tried any modding/remodding with RTW so I'll be grateful if one of you gifted ones described how to make a faction horde, making some of its units horde units and adjusting their upkeep step by step, which files to edit, what to copy where etc.

What lies specifically in my mind is remodding EB for BI giving Sauromatae, Saka Rauka and Pahlava modding capabilities and making their lowest end factional levy units horde units, decreasing their upkeep. (That said, if horde units get 0 upkeep only in horde status, it won't be necessary.) No new units are possible; all slots are occupied.

does anyone (Mak. ?) btw know what the differences are between "spawn on revolt" and "shadowing" ..

I know that shadowing add's the loyalty stuff, and spawn on revolt doesnt, but are these 2 features for the rest pretty much the same or are there more differences ??
(I've been using the shadowing feature but like to get rid of loyalty as I dont use it and it just ugly-fies the ui, though I do very much like the feature as it is ..)

Iirc spawn-on-revolt happens just once and it's irreversible (so a rebelious character/settlement won't rebel back) Been ages since I last played vanilla BI though...

thanks for the reply Aradan, guess I'll change loyalty to something else than and possibly put flowers or so in their to pretty-fy the ui a bit .. :)
