when i first saw the late december preview for eb 1.1, i figured that i might as well uninstall EB and wait to start a new campaign after eb 1.1 was released, figuring i'd rather not start a new 1.0 campaign and have to quit it since the versions of EB are rarely backwards compatible, save games wise.....it's now drawing to the end of january and i still dont have EB installed yet in anticipation of the new version :smash:

on a side note, how many have you played as the romans and not had a ctd after 230bc, because when i download eb again, i fear i will be discouraged from playing as the romani because i will get a ctd once i get deep into a campaign:wall:

Me. In 0.8x and 1.0, all my Roman campaigns have lasted to at least 220 BC, and that is only b/c I switched factions that all of them don't make it to 170 BC or later.

Team decision was to limit 1.1 release to several hundred copies that were distributed between chosen few. please, don't ask about the selection criteria
