I keep thinking: Do we want regime change in Iran?
Let's see, what did we have before? It's not like Persia has had a benign history in the region, or that they have a tradition of Western-style governance. Has anyone thought of what would replace him? What are our options, the Marxist MEK who's leader has a lust for power?
Once Iran develops nuclear weapons do we want them to be used in terrorism related events or as part of a more traditional armed conflict? This guy is such a clown that he may cause enough internal unrest (with a little 'help' from outside of course) to keep the threat largely contained. Another reason why we need to succeed so badly in Iraq and Afghanistan. A powerful but peaceful nudge in the right direction would work better.
