Need Some Help with Patches

Trying to install 1.2 euro patch for M2 TW but it says it can't because i can't open the events.dat file has anyone had this before and figured out what to do cos i'd appreciate some help. Thanks.

Did you install the 1.1 patch? I think you need it first before patching to 1.2

Then it seems like the file you mentioned is corrupted or something like that... i don't have any other ideas than trying to reinstall and hope that helps...?

afaik you're supposed to go from vanilla M2TW to the 1.2 patch.

This was exactly the problem as it turns out, so thanks for bringing it to my attention and fixing my game
