Ratings

What's the highest possible rating for Assasins etc.? I've got a level 6 who has killed several inquisitors, emissaries and a Pope and yet he refuses to increase to 7.

Also, Can you not have level 10 generals? I have a few level 9 generals and I try and give them a title which increases their command rating and their rating doesn't increase, although they get the other benefits and the title does appear above their picture.

5 star assassins and spies has been my best to date. 8 star general with just a 2 acumen, just my luck a Spartan lol.

My level 9 generals were ex princes who no longer have a claim to the throne, allowing me to give them titles and boost them from 6 or 7 to 9. The only way to build up an assasin I find is to only allow them to work within your own provinces until they reach about level 6. I lost my first level 5 which annoyed me greatly!

I've got a level 11 assasin, killed 3 popes, numerous generals, legions of priests, armies of imams, hordes of emisaries, harems of princesses and a kitten http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/eek.gif

The only thing which could kill him now is the 400 year limit...

As far as I know, there is a limit to how many starts will show up, 9 for generals, and Im guessing 9 for everything else too. To get level 11 youd need

1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,512,1028

1028 KILLS. You can only get 1 kill per turn. 1 kill can be worth as many kills as the rank of the victim, so kill a 9 star general and u get 9 'kills' for it. Maybe you get a bonus for the pope or Imams? I find it VERY VERY hard to believe that you could get up to 1028 kills in any event even with a bonus for the pope, and even if the game could even render 11 stars.

So assassins can be used defensively? Cool. How about emmisaries? Can they be used defensively? Or are they just bait to lure in enemy assassins?
