My governer of Sardinia has run away to sea.

He now sails in the Bay of Biscay with an entourage of 99 other Chivalric Sergeants.

He won't come back to dry land and behaves just like a boat. I haven't fought with him yet but its a bit odd.

Does anyone have any interest in getting the save game state for bug analysis?

Yes please. Zip the savegame and send it to medievalcrashes@hotmail.com

Don't know if we'll get time to fix it, but maybe.

Do you know how he got there?

Dammit, tried to save it and it crashed my system. I had alt-tabbed out previously. I'll see if it happens again.

Well, it didn't happen again.

I am France, the year is 1198. I wiped out Italy the turn before last and installed a new governer of Sardinia. The same turn I fought a Spanish ship in the Bay of Biscay and it came up with both parties lost one ship message (both parties lost all ships in this case(unless I had perhaps built one that turn, not sure)). There was also a storm in the Bay of Biscay that turn and it said one caravel lost, the ship I lost in battle was a caravel, the Spanish boat was something else. At the start of the next turn my new Sardinan governer was sailing there. He could be moved about like a boat but maintained his soldier unit appearance and stats on right click.

Anything else I let you know?
