I am trying to figgure out how to find and install VI for Medieval total war 1. Can anyone here kindly help me?
You have to have a copy of Medieval Total War (original) already installed before you can install VI. Once you do, you should just be able to stick the CD in and install it. The game will auto-detect that you have MTW installed.

This shows what a idiot I am. I've already for VI installed. I meant to say I need to find the XL mod.
A quick google search shows this (http://files.filefront.com/Medieval+Total+War+XL+Mod/;3850720;/fileinfo.html) and this (http://www.fileplanet.com/152986/150000/fileinfo/Medieval-Total-War---Medieval-Total-War-XL-MOD).
Welcome, Kenshin the vega bound! I hope you'll enjoy XL (I know I did!). :2thumbsup:

Got another problem nothing to do with medieval. Windows 2000 asks for software to install new hardware when I try to use a memory stick on my home computer. I wish I had internet at home so I wouldnt have this problem.
Anyway thanks a lot for helping this idiot out. I will figgure out how to get XL running in the end.
I love medival total war.
Ahh, I do that too. Well, sort of.
I have Windows 2000 on my PC as well. The thing is, it's not compatible with my wireless internet, I'd get it hard wired but well, takes too long.
Anyway, I have to use a flashdrive to get all my stuff off of this computer (with the internet obviously). And many times have I ****ed up what I'm trying to take over - excuse my asterisks. :shame:
Do you get a problem when you try and unzip something? Like as if it becomes corrupt?
