Alright there, I’m wondering if any of you could help me with this?

I want to install BI and add the Ivasio Barbarorum mod to it, but would this effect EB and my saves on there, as I don’t want to stop playing EB?

No.

EB and Invasio Barbarorum should work without a problem.

You could always be on the safe side and make a copy of a clean RTW + BI installation and install it there. If you don't have that you can at least make a copy of the one you do have so you can go back to that if something bad does happen.
