I salivated when I saw that, and in so doing almost choked. Nice shot.

As a side note, minimal UI sucks, it made my shot smaller cropping stuff out than I would have normally.

IMO, its better for shots that you have the full UI, so you only have to crop the bottom and you dont miss anything. with the minimal, you have to take out the top and the bottom......

Just to put in my :2cents:

I really like the last man standing. All of the carnage around him, and yet he still stands ready. The backround of the mountains in the distance is nice too. The whole picture is consistantly dark in color, giving it a hue of sorrow. :7detective:

You cant just go to UI options and click minimal UI and hide them all? Or is that med 2. U should be able to do it from the menu anyway.

You can do Minimal UI in RTW, but you have to go into preferences.txt and change it manually there...however, if one does that, then it makes it somewhat hard(or, with my experience, have to do more) to crop out things, in essence having to take out more than with the regular UI. For me at least, pressing those F keys did the trick in min. UI....no reason it shouldn't work...

I'm not completely sure what you're trying to say here. If you have the minimal UI you don't need to crop at all. The "F keys" you're referring to are F5, F6 and F7. Hit that and you only have the cursor left, and that's easily cropped out/hidden/edited out.

I'll submit a screen tomorrow too, I think. I have a few already, I just need to decide which one to choose first.

It would be so much easier to get good screens if the bloody game wasn't so good you could actually think of something else when you're playing it. Too often do I start fraps and play through epic battles, only to realize in the end that I forgot to take any pictures. :wall:

Yes they were Kelto-Hellenic Hoplites, i was fighting a battle near Capua with my Aedui against romans, i had an army composed of hastati and celtic hoplites. You can train them in Capua as regionals as in Massilian Emporion and other towns

About the elephant looking uninterested, don't forget elephants were given wine to make them angry, but don't forget wine also made them...drunk. And the elephant looks really drunk in the picture. :P, that's why he looks uninterested, it's all realistic. (It gets my vote. The soldier seems overwhelmed with the large beast)

Well its that the AI doesn't know how to deal with fatige, and I got tired of fighting exausted AI armies which would rout the instant they got charged by the Gaesatae. :no:

Now that they don't get tired... battles are more fun since the AI puts a decent fight. :yes:

But if you're attacking and they're positioned on a hill your Gaesatae won't get tired by the long climb either...

:wall: mistake, my Gaesatae would not be tired with Fatige On. I would walk, stop, walk, stop, manouver so I get in better ground position, stop, and then charge once everyone is "fresh"

The AI can't do this. I can. Thats why I play with Fatige Off.

But you can't walk, if your enemy has tons of archers and javelin throwers. In those cases you have to charge up the hill, before Gaesatae loose most of their hitpoints

:wall: If that is the case then I decide not to fight that battle. I just don't engage the enemy in the strategy map. I will hide my main army and lure that enemy out with a smaller stack, or move away to let it advance on my city and then attack in more favorable ground.

now fellas... wtf does this super rare scenario has to do with Fatige on and Fatige off????

I just recommend fatige off and give a reason why. If u are not sure is better, then play a few battles and make ur own decition.
