A few days ago i found a site in which you could compare all type of units in MTW.
Now i'm searching for it and i can't find it.
If there is anybody who knows what i'm talking about please help me and give me the adress.

I think you're talking about the War Assembly. It's down, but it's not out. It's going to be coming back. The owner of the site posts on this website. Go back and edit your message so the title mentions the War Assembly, and maybe he'll pop in and give you a status report.

You WERE talking about the Java program that lets you pull out all the available trainable units for each faction, right?

their was some other tool that was done by
MagyarKhans Cham . not as quite good as the one at the assembly but still an excellent tool.

I think this website (totalwar.org) has a 46-page PDF that does something similar. It'll let you print out all the units for your faction (by choosing to print the appropriate pages), and it can then be at hand while playing the game.

Tip:
When you see a page that you know your going to view often, SAVE it.

IE ~ Go to website page. Go to 'File' > 'Save As' and save it somewhere useful (such as C:\Documents and Settings\USER\My Documents\Web Pages).
Yes, thats pretty basic, but you'd be surprised how many people don't take advantage of it.

netfool, it wouldn't have worked in this case. The page he's looking for uses Java and a database to put together information about units each faction gets.

I don't know of any save routine that can save a database from a website.

Now, if he had done all the factions individually, and printed the pages, that would be different.

well, the only thing I can think of would be to d/l the whole site with teleport or something like this... but this of course doesn't mean it will work. it's only "the last&only chance" kinda thing
