in tellos atheno's installation guide for eb, he says install ing eb in the activision/rome total war file is not the best choice but will it be the same as installing it in the copied rome total war folder or is installing eb in the copied folder better?

Are you asking "Is it better to install EB in the original RTW installation folder or in the copied folder?"
In that case, it's the same; installing in a copied folder is better so you have a backup of your vanilla installation (if you mess up too much with EB, you can always recopy everything and reinstall EB only, without installing RTW again)
Also, some mods are not completely including in their own mod folder and change some of the original vanilla files. If you install them in the same folder as EB, thay might conflict.

thanks , ill just intall it in the original rome total war file though, because im afraid ill mess rome total war up if i try to copy it.
Well, if you just copy the installation folder you've nothing to fear; the two copies work as separate installations: they do not interfere with each other.
The only main difference is that to uninstall the "copied" folder you have just to delete it, without going through the normal uninstallation. To uninstall the original installation you still have to do it the "normal" way, though.
The only thing to consider before copying is hd space, but with modern computers this is rarely an issue.
