Hello guys yesterday Teleklos Archelaou had a very interesting and in my view a very good idea in therad which can be found here -
https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=98791

He suggested that we could make a therad with saved games with a migration type of thing. For example someone would start with KH then he would abandone his old home and migrate to Bosphorus or Syracuse etc. Then at the point where his old land were eaten by other faction and a new homeland was estabilished the person would post here that save for others, to allow them to experience adventure of playing a campaign for a "new original" faction -ie Syrakousay, Bosphoran kingdom etc.

So inspired by Teleklos I made such a thing. Let me interduce to you! A new playable faction which is located in today's south of Ireland (what was the land called back then?)

In this campaing you control Ivernis, a land of two joint rulers - Vellocatos doe Saraneidae, a good honorable man and Budic moc Cunobelin a selfish and treacherous bastard. Both man are from Fene tribe a tribe of proto Gaels closely related to Aquitanias, Basques and Iberian Galaecians. People from this tribe began to arrive on Isle just recently from the 3rd C BC. At the begining they were peaceful, but that has changed since.....

The year is 264 BC, your first task is going to be to bring northern tribes under your rule - So you will have the right to call yourself a King of Goidils. And then who nows? Maybe you will have to face the mighty Casse in the struggle over the control of both Isles.

You have an army at your disposal which can take Emain-Macha if the god's will be on your side. But of course they cost you a lot of gold so if you decide to keep them you will be in red numbers in no time!!

So here is that save if somene wanted to try it. I myself will play it looks really promising.

Note: Of course its not a new faction but for our role play purposess we can play by it, and pretend a little bit (just a little - there is great availability of regional goidilic units) I managed to do this by starting campaign for Arverni, then I moved all my FM's and starting armies to the isle (by using move_character console), left behind my cities with no garrison. Conquered Ivernis, and then disbanded some of my army, built a ship boarded 2 of my FM's, waited till my original provinces will be eaten by Aedui, and went pirate fishing. First two Arverni FM's were killed on the sea by pirates. Then one or two old provinces were conquered by Aedui. Then I got candidate for adoption with "good" ethnicity trait (related to Ireland). Then I build another ship boarded the remaining two original FM's, they were sunked by pirates and at that time I got another candidate for adoption, again with the "good" ethnicity trait. And then I just waited for the last province in Gaul to be conquered by Aedui.

Thanks for your time, I hope you will enjoy this.

That's a good idea. :2thumbsup: Sadly I don't have any savegame for 1.0 available that is suitable.

I've got a Macedon campaign in which I migrated to Ireland.
It's now 212B.C. and I own the British Isles (with the exception of 1 province for my protectorate, the Casse) and most provinces in Northern Germany and Scandinavia.
The great Aedui empire just South of me is planning an attack with stacks full of Gaestatae, Solduros and Carnutes, just now that my 2 full stacks are battles in the 2 last Sweboz fullstacks further east.
I'm retraining the remnants of earlier conquest armies that I've shipped back to Britain. That would give me a third almost full stack, but would also drain my economy.

Speaking of economy, I must admit I've cheated some in the first 30 years of the campaign, but I didn't want to wait until 200BC before taking my second settlement. I didn't use the move-character cheat, so by the time my ships reached Ireland, I was like half a million in the red. Besides I roleplayed and first installed a client ruler (with rediculously high upkeep, the guy should be happy I let him rule) in the new provinces, only changing to a level three after some time (or after the client ruler was dead).

So if you are interested and if you can bare the burden of playing a campaign in which has been cheated, let me know.
