a question for those of you that use dial-up

my dial up service provides an accelerator. The accelerator has several modes


normal

text only

fast

faster

fastest

but the fast modes make pictures look bad, but you can surf the web faster with them. My question is which mode should i use to download the rtw patches and eb, and will the fast modes not download everything in a file online?:help:

I assume that it just reduces the content on webpages and so has no affect on how fast the connection is, so it don't matter.
