https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/online.php is alphabetical. The RelicNews forum uses vB, and has an alphabetical Currently Active bar, so I assume it's possible.

TWC's list is at the bottom of the front page, like the Org's, but is alphabetically ordered. That was quite useful when I went hunting for alts.
