Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who introduced transcendental meditation to the West and gained fame in the 1960s as the spiritual guru to the Beatles, died Tuesday at his home and headquarters in Vlodrop, the Netherlands. He is believed to have been in his 90s.

Rest in Peace.

It may be in bad taste but tounge in cheek..

If a meditation guru can not rest in peace then who can?

Also getting to the 90's is a good innings and sounds like he had a full life.

MEDITATE in peace.

This is horrible. Whenever someone announces a death in the tavern my first reaction is: "Who?"

:shame:

"The important thing is this: to be able, at any moment, to sacrifice what we are for what we could become." M. M. Yogi.

He defintely changed the world for the better + it is amazing that M. M Yogi almost never became a teacher. But from a twist of fate the Transcendental Meditation movent was born and swept the world.
