View Full Version : Anyone for translating some TURKISH lyrics ?
Hi guys !
Could anyone translate this for me please ?
"Hep seni düþünüyorum
Aklýmda saklayýp kalbimde buluyorum
Ýstemekten vazgeçemiyorum
Geceler boyu seni yanýmda dileyip
Güneþle uyuyorum kalktýðýmda yoksun yine
Dünümü bugünümü gelecegýmý çaldin
Bak yýne de kizamiyorum canin saðolsun
Canin saðolsun bu can feda olsun
Hiç kimse benliðini seninle bu kadar dolduramaz
Gel kendini de al bu benliðimden
Hiçbirþeyim kalmasýn ooof
Hiçbirþeyim kalmasýn..........."

"I always think of you
Keeping you in my mind, I find you in my heart
I can't give up wanting you
For nights long, wishing you were near
I sleep with the sun, you're not here when I wake up
You stole my yesterday, today and my future
Look I can't get angry with tou, bless you
Bless you, this life shall be sacrificed for you
Noone can fill herself with you as much as this
Come over and take yourself from me
I shall have nothing left
I shall have nothing left"
Once more again, why do you listen to Turkish crap? I know it's about the tastes but..Uh..Whatever.
Hope it helps.
Teshikurler Kardesh.
Well I like the sound of it, it's cool. I like Turkish as a language. I guess I feel an ethnic affinity for the language
The lyrics are pop, but I like em. Bit sad though.
Why don't you suggest something ? I like Nefret as well BTW.
I like this one: Istanbul (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IhMos-zVI24)
I LOVE this song: HERŞEY VATAN İÇİN ! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-LSSwdBubEg&feature=related)
(and yeah I'm aware of what they're saying, roughly)

Omar Faruk Tekbilek and Istambul Oriental Ensemble. No lyrics, though....
What does "bu" mean?
Kimse = no one? (kim = who)

.
bu: this (pronoun or adj.)
For sake of nitpicking kimse literally means person. Hiç kimse is nobody proper but in colloquial usage kimse serves as well.
I just had to share my smartassness. :beam:

Çok sağol. ~
Omar Faruk Tekbilek was one of the first Turkish artists I ever listened to, have almost all his CDs.
Was just surfing youtube and found this: Melih Gorgun-Yoksun (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPGOXxPFs5Y&feature=related). I love the music, bit of a soppy heartbreak song though.
What does Çok sağol mean ?
Thank you very much. ~;)
Or maybe "thanks alot", I'm not quite sure to be honest. :sweatdrop:

Sinan, Melih Görgün has one titled "14 Bahar". Recommended.
I'll compile some stuff from Youtube as soon as I get some spare time.
Thanks, that's a good song.
