I'm about 2 minutes walk away from what seems to be the epicenter of the fire, and I can see huge flames shooting into the air from my window. It's pretty crazy, the police have evacuated everyone up to a couple of blocks away from me and cordoned all of the streets off. I'm lucky to be able to stay in my house.

If the fire is as bad as it seems to be-apparently most of the stuff from the stables market down to Camden Lock railway brdige has gone up-it's a real tragedy for the area. It's an iconic place, and attracts a huge number of tourists.

I thought about you when I saw that on the news here. I didn`t know if you were withing 100 miles or not, but you popped into mind right away. Must be that Extra Sanctaphrax Perception stuff.

As long as you didn`t get burned out of your pad, I`m happy. :angel:

Look on the bright side , if you have any antiques or collectables they would have just gone up in value when that section of Camden market went up in flames taking its stock with it .

It's a crying shame. We had a huge fire a few weeks ago it's a terrifying thing

Its one of the smaller markets that went up. They'll fix it back up. Camden is still open for business folks. Legal and otherwise.

That would explain why all the firemen were standing DOWNWIND of the fire, working slowly and popping over to KFC for a feed mid-fire.

Hope no one was hurt.
