I've noticed that one can't get information any more on whether or not a post has been edited. Is there any reason why this was removed?

You still do...
Unless you edit it in the same minute that you posted it.
Pannonian is quite correct, the edit information no longer appears.
-Edit: Still no info.

It seems to be working for me. It may be possible that the time has been extended though - I edited the post six minutes after originally posting it and the notification appeared.

I think you're right in that it has been extended somewhat. I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this, as I was starting to wonder if I was imagining things. :sweatdrop:

Im not. Kills it for mafia. Otherwise yes.
It could be a problem for Mafia indeed. It's on of those global settings. Will reset it for now.
0 minutes.

I prefer the old edit settings. Now even if I go back to change a tiny typographical error 2 seconds after posting it displays the last edit, which is rather annoying...
IT seems that there should be a different config per forum.

Yes, but it's a global thing. ~:(
The current Mafia game seems very fast paced and so it will be 0 for a while. No need to make that even harder :operator:
It accepts whole minutes only afaik, it's nice to have a free minute or so to fix typos/code, but you can still edit. It's not a disaster when others see you fixed a post. It's something that happens to all of us.
