Why is it closed?

Sillinesses aside, i don't see any reason for it to have been closed. I was just about to steer it back on course, only to find it's closed.

If a thread is going to be closed, can't a reason at least be given, rather than just randomly going LOL CLOSED?

I'm not entirely understanding your analogy there...from my experience, when your puppy does something bad, you tell it off so it understands what it's done, not lock it away in the dark with no explanation.

I mean, from what i can see, all that's happened is a bit a of muppetry and then suddenly, blam, thread lock. If this was to happen with every thread that had a bit of muppetry in it, then half the threads on the .org would be locked.

And now i'm thinking it should be locked again, or at least the naughty puppies in question who keep piddling all over the thread with HILARIOUS 4chan material should be given a whack on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper.

I am probably a bit more whiny then needs be, but it's been rather hot and humid where i am for the last few days. You can't help but get all annoyed at the slightest thing when you're absolutely drenched with sweat.
