Hello all,
I've waited 6 days for this game to arrive from play.com and was dissappointed when I encountered the following problems while installing the game on Vista I get the following popup on trying to laod the game:

"MED2GOLD

Conflict with Emulation Software detected.
Please have a look at for further, more detailed information.

SecuROM™ has determined that emulation tools like 'Alcohol l20%' or 'Daemon Tools' are running. Please be informed that SecuROM™ protected applications will not work with such tools.

Please unmount your image, close these emulators, and insert the original disc in order to start the application.
If the application still won't start, please send a SecuROM™ analysis file to support@securom.com (see Support Info section on how to prepare and send an analysis file)."

Now I have no idea what its going on about but its so frustrating as I can;t access the game have no idea how to fix it and can't sign in on the official forums to get some assistance. Anyone know how I can sort this out I don't even have what is says I have installed!

Cheers in advance
BoA

Do you have any software that emulates a CD-ROM or a DVD-ROM drive? Securom doesn't like those kind of programs. You will have to remove such program to be able to install M2TW gold.

Emm-hmm, if you have an emulator software such as Daemon Tools running in the background, exit it.

Nero counts as emulation too I believe.

but if you don't open nero while playing, it shouldn't have any effect on the game no?

It may have preloaded components. In the past, people actually had to uninstall it for the game to work for them.
You can also try deactivating the loading of all non-windows components at boot up to see if it works.

Well, what other software that allows you to mount images do you have installed/running?
If none, try running a reg cleaner, reboot, and try again.

i'll just buy MTW2 seperately and play that
