Greek Pikemen

I looked at recruit viewer and it shows KH get Greek Pikemen. I have built the best military barracks in the recruitment areas and i have yet to see them being recruitable anywhere, Why?

Wait for the vanilla marians to strike. You won't get a popup screen, but once Arretium reaches Huge City status the vanilla reforms will kick in soon after for all the factions that use them. The KH gets the pikemen from that.

not only Arretium, the reforum could be triggered by Capua and Arpi too IIRC

In my experience, Arretium only. I've played as the Romans before and I usually have the whole of Southern and Central Italy at Huge before Arretium and no vanilla reforms. I've also seen this happen in my old Mak campaign where I had everything in S Italy Huge but Arretium was only Large and no vanilla.

So im guessing the gallic player cant trigger the reforms since he can only get it to large city eh?

Well that sux...I guess I have to leave the sneaky romans alone for 20 turns or so till they can repopulate that blasted place....I massacred every single roman except the city after capua, and looted EVERYTHING....and yet the masses of apeleutheroi with gold chelvrons managed to annihilate the epirotes in taras >.>

Damn! In my KH campaign I have both Capua and Arpi and they´re at Huge City, no reforms yet. Arretium is still just a Minor City, and at the speed the Romans are going it´ll probably remain that way for another 100 years.

If you're particularly desperate you could always use a combination of force diplomacy, add_population and process_cq to "engineer" the growth :)

Yeah, but I don´t want to take anything except my VC´s. Though I have already broken that, since I created a mecenary army that all by itself conquered 7 regions in the Balts and Eastern Russia area, though I did give them all away to the Sauromatae. I´m going to create a huge Sauromatae Empire, without them even having to do anything.
