Quick question...

What happens to a faction's navy if I wipe out all of their land provinces? Do all the ships magically scupper themselves, or go rebel or what....?

And now I have another question...

If I attack a faction which has a fleet and several land provinces - what happens to the fleet if I capture/destroy the last of their ports??? If they can't support them, do they do the submarine thing again...????

never saw that happen yet, but my guess is that the boats remain active. They don't need a port to be supported, they just need the money...

Actually, if what you say is true, that would be a great way to kill thier treasury. Remember, ship support costs are derived from thier distance from the nearest friendly port. So if here are no friendly ports, costs would skyrocket, hmm...interesting.

Definately survive, I saw this last night. The English occupied only a non-costal European province, but still had masses of ships...

I had not though about the financial issue... Nasty...
